This month you should all be out boating so I thought IŽd feature a new cook book written for yachties by a local yachtswoman based in Menorca, Janet Buckingham.
Janet and her partner, John Tully have considerable cruising experience on their former yacht TaiPan and now their current yacht, Jupiter Moon- hence the title of the book."JUPITER MOON COOK BOOK"
Its 192 pages include subjects such as provisioning; galley equipment; storage; menu plans; and a range of recipes under 11 food categories.
Some of the recipes are old favourites such as Moules Marinieres; others are ones that Janet has discovered such as duck breast with cranberries and balsamic vinegar or chicken with tarragon and lemon.
There is also a chapter on barbecues on board and a range of interesting fish recipes.
Spiral bound with splash-resistant paper this is an excellent addition to your library aboard.
