TECHNOLOGY UPDATE
Wireless AV and Mediterranean English TV Transfer High-Quality Audio & Video Wirelessly to a TV in Another Room
This product is a refinement on existing products that have been around for a while but have been lacking in quality and range. Like previous products this system lets you view video and listen to music from one cabin/room to another wirelessly. It combines proprietary technology (Air5®) in the 5GHz frequency range and component-video connectivity, the RemoteTV offers the best range available without interruptions at up to 106m and superior audio video quality.
A PureAV RemoteTV
Because it utilizes proprietary wireless technology that reduces interference and delivers up to 40Mbps of bandwidth through the 5GHz frequency range, the RemoteTV far exceeds the performance of the existing wireless audio video sender. The RemoteTV is the first audio video sender to incorporate a component-video connectivity option for obtaining excellent resolution. Its Remote Control Extender lets you use an existing remote to control your video source in the other cabin/room, saving you the hassle of walking back and forth, and the expense of purchasing a separate remote. The RemoteTV consists of two primary bits of kit, the PureAV RemoteTV Transmitter and the PureAV RemoteTV Receiver. The Transmitter sends audio and video from a source component - such as a satellite decoder, digital video recorder, DVD/CD player, or AV receiver - to the RemoteTV Receiver, which is connected to a TV, LCD, or plasma display in a separate location.

English Language Digital Satellite TV Service
The largest number of English language programs transmitted via Satellite in the Mediterranean are broadcast from the UK. To receive these channels you need a Satellite TV antenna and a Digital Receiver. A digital receiver will allow you to receive the Free to Air (FTA) Channels broadcast including all the BBC channels. By using a Freeview card in the decoder, with the correct size dish, you will be able to receive Channel 4, 5 and all the ITV channels. This card has a one off fee but attracts no monthly charge. However, if you want to watch the premium channels, such as Sports and Movies you need a Satellite Viewing Card. To get a viewing card you must have a valid UK address. The number of cards registered to an address is also limited to two. If you do not have a UK address, or want more than two Viewing Cards, call Tony or Nicola at E3 Airtime. E3 Airtime have created a service that simplifies the subscription process and allows customers who do not have a valid UK address to access the suite of satellite TV channels. E3 Airtime can also supply an unlimited number of cards to an individual customer for every channel package.

What equipment do I need?
* You will need a suitable antenna. As we are on the edge of the area covered by the service this will be a lot larger (typically 1.2m or more depending on location) than those required and supplied in UK. For mobile installations (boats and yachts) this will need to be a specialised gyro stabilised maritime system, which we can offer separately.
* You will need a Digital Decoder (Digibox). This converts the satellite signal into a TV signal so that you can view satellite TV channels.
* You will need a Satellite Viewing Card. This will allow you to decrypt the encrypted signals. For further information go to our website www.e3s.com for fact sheets, brochures and links.
