Recently a Spanish consumer association tested 12 ´sound around´ home cinema systems.
The absolute best of the bunch was the HITACHI HTD-K150 priced at around 520 Euros.
The other two systems that they considered to be excellent value for money were the THOMSON DPL910VD, priced at 610 Euros and the SONY DAV-S5400, priced at 585 Euros.
DVD PlAYERS
In another comparison, by the same association 17 different makes and models of DVD players were put through their paces. The best model was considered to be the SONY DVP-F41MS at 650 Euros and the best value for money, TOSHIBA SD220E at 200 Euros.
